Big Screen on the Green
This spring, Watters Creek at Montgomery Farm is proud to present “Big Screen on the Green,” a series of FREE films for the entire family. Each Thursday in May, families are invited to bring a blanket and watch an entertaining film on a gigantic two-story inflatable movie screen located in the heart of Watters Creek on the Village Green. No lawn chairs, coolers or alcohol permitted.

Live on the Green!
Each Friday and Saturday in May listen to an eclectic assortment of live local bands while enjoying a leisurely alfresco dinner on one of the numerous patios overlooking the stage on The Green. Music fans will enjoy dining alfresco and spreading their blankets on The Green to hear their favorite concerts. No lawn chairs, coolers or alcohol permitted.

SpringFest

Each Spring, Collin County residents, ISD students and their families, local running enthusiasts, and representatives from businesses and organizations all come together for friendly competition and for a common cause– ACO Programs including Meals-On-Wheels & More Program and other services benefiting families in crisis in Allen, Fairview and Lucas. The event features the Annual Martha Janes Memorial 1-Mile Walk and a 5K. More Information.

A Civil War Encampment will take place with lots of activities for the family and food will be available. The Collin Co. Civil War Living Historians will conduct drill demonstrations, Dutch oven cooking, a military court martial, and show medical practices of the time. A blacksmith will also be on hand.

This week we will break away from the traditional Summer Sounds Concert Series for a Memorial Day Tribute Event that features Patriotic Music performed by the Allen Philharmonic Orchestra and Symphony Chorus. Celebrate Memorial Day with an evening of activities designed to honor our Veterans and Servicemen and Women. The event will conclude with a patriotic fireworks show!
